I was born in Rieti (Italy) in 1994.
When I was 2, I used to spend a lot of time with my grandfather. He was a pianist and piano soon became our favourite game. In my childhood he told me the secrets of this magical object.
In 2000, I moved to San Benedetto del Tronto (Italy), a city by the sea. Here I made close friends and I studied Classics at the local High School.
In 2005, I was admitted to G. B. Pergolesi Conservatory of Music (Fermo, Italy).
In 2014 my grandfather and I had studied as hermits for a year Bach Goldberg Variations in his house on the hills, when unfortunately he died one week before my graduation.
For my degree I played my beloved Goldberg. At that time I was really inspired by Glenn Gould’s versions of this masterpiece.
In that moment I realized music would be my mission. Spreading our studies around the world has become my dream. So I started composing.
In the following years I improved my musical skills at G. Rossini Conservatory of Music (Pesaro, Italy). I focused especially on Bach’s Well Tempered Clavier.
Once finished my Bach work, I decided to move towards a new genre: for my master degree thesis I played Philip Glass Piano Etudes.
Working on Glass’ music has been so inspiring. After my master, I started playing piano solo shows mixing classical and contemporary composers as Max Richter, Ólafur Arnalds, Ludovico Einaudi and Philip Glass, obviously.
In 2018 I moved to Bologna (Italy) to find new cultural influences. I started studying Philosophy, attending theatrical performances, going to literature conferences and art exhibitions.
While I was working on my new album, I played several times my original soundtrack for live theatrical performances.
Nobody’s Home is my first piano solo album as a composer.
